Users, who are already a part of the Open Beta program, will receive an OTA update and it also brings a slew of the latest bug fixes and a useful OnePlus Switch app.
This app will be able to easily transfer iPhone data via iCloud. The new OxygenOS Open Beta 4 update also adds weather channels as a data source for accurate weather data.
OnePlus 7 Pro users are currently receiving OxygenOS Open Beta 4 update, while OnePlus 7 users will be starting this next week.
The changelog states that the update fixed the screen flashing issue with the setup when adding fingerprints, and also fixed the issue of accidental muting of the vehicle navigation system with a Bluetooth connection.
There was an issue disabling mobile data after the upgrade, which has been fixed, and it has also optimized the visual effects and black and white screen issues of the allowed pop-up windows with some apps. The update also improves system stability and other known issues.
The Open Beta 4 update for OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 adds a "ringtone reducing feature" to the sound and vibration for incoming calls, and enables adding unknown numbers for contacts.
The update also expands the dial pad area to avoid incorrect touch and optimizes the message sorting feature by verification codes.
